The London Eye Have you ever taken a trip on which you had so much and you wish you could go again? I did. It was 2010 my family and I had planned a trip to the London Eye and the aquarium. We took our car there. It was about a 2 hour car ride. When we first got there we ran really fast to the aquarium. There were all kinds of fish but it was kind of boring. The aquarium got interesting when we saw the sharks. I thought it was going to be a mega huge shark but it was only a baby, but it was quite big! We also got to a place where we could touch the fish. One of them had super scaly skin so its skin was rough. We bought some chocolate and sweets before coming out. We were in there for about 45 minutes. The next thing for us to do was go on the London Eye. The line was super long and it took us forever to get to the top. When we finally got to the top we had to buy tickets. Then we had to wait another 15 minutes to get on the London eye. When we finally were about to board the London eye, there was a gap between the car and the platform and I almost fell but my dad quickly grabbed me. When everyone was on all the cars the London eye started at first it was going extremely slow but then it started to speed up a bit. When we got to the top we could see every single building. We took pictures of big Ben and other monuments. We also took pictures of us standing in front of the buildings. When we were almost to the bottom there was a massive camera flash and I was certain that it wasn't from inside the car. It was only till after the ride that I realized that the flash was from a camera outside the car. Every time there is a car that is heading towards the bottom the camera takes a picture. When we were back on solid ground my Mum said my brother and I could go on our own to visit some monuments and she gave us each 25 pounds of spending money. I used my money on some sweets and a new hat. My brother used his money on some souvenirs and some sweets.
All in all I think the London eye was the best thing I did there when my family and I went out.
